A Brief History of the Computing Curriculum at Grinnell College

The document, A Brief History of the Computing Curriculum at Grinnell College, provides an overview of computing courses and curricular matters, starting with the introduction of the first programming course in 1971.

This document was last revised in February 1996. Since that time, the computer science faculty has increased in size twice, resulting in may significant changes in Grinnell's computer science program. None of these changes not discussed in the current document. Altogether, this document should be considered as a draft historical document, rather than as an overview of the current computer science program at Grinnell College.
