Bluetooth Overview, Continued
The Scribbler 2 robot and MyroC follow a standard Bluetooth protocol.
- Each robot (actually the Fluke plugged into the robot) has a
Media Access Control (MAC) address, usually given in hexadecimal
notation, such as "00:1E:19:01:09:50"
- The robot runs Bluetooth, waiting for a workstation's request to connect
- Once a connection is established
- The workstation and robot exchange messages
- Robot's design specifies message format.
- Library functions in MyroC translate logical robot commands
and send messages according to the robot's protocol.
