text-align: left — the text throughout this section is left justified
background: #AAAAFF; — the background color for this section has RGB values: Red (AA), Green (AA), Blue (FF)
color: black; — the color of the font will be black
margin-left: 32%; — the left part of the overall column is indented 32% of the page
margin-top: 4%; — the top margin of this section comes down 4% of the page from the previous section
margin-bottom: 4%; — a gap of 4% of the page follows this column before the next section
padding: 1em; — indent this amount from the sides, top and bottom when laying out text
width: 62%; — this column will take up 62% of the width of the page
