Science Phase 2: Views from the Crane

The following pictures show several views from the tower crane, moving from west to east. Within a section, views proceed south to north.

Western and central sections looking west: The decking on the west (top of picture) has rebar for beams and rebar mats for the base of the floors.
The shoring in the central section (to the right of the open courtyard) has decking with some rebar in a few beam areas

Eastern Section
south-eastern section (1)
South Eastern Section: Looking toward the south east. Decking is being put in place in the central area, while the southeastern area largely serves as storage -- particularly along the existing Science building on the upper right. Gravel has been added along much of the Chiller Plant, although some additional gravel will be added shortly near Science.

North Eastern Section: Gravel extends from the Chiller Plant to the foundation areas of the new construction

North Eastern Section: A closer view of the gravel area that will serve as the base for the first floor in the northeastern corner of the new building.

Eastern section: Looking downward from the crane at the gravel next to the Chiller Plant. The top of the Chicer Plant's air conditioning compressors is visible at the top of this picture.
