Summer 2007
Basic schedule:

Monday, May 15 to Friday, May 26 (Exam week and the following week):

Extensive work on roof and on preparing connections between old and new
-
Ventilation may be off, so temperatures may be higher than normal

Work will begin during the second week in rooms 0430, 0428, 1434, and 1424A
in Psychology.

Weitz will try to contain noise during exams, BUT see me if a problem
arises

Monday, May 29 to Friday, August 4
-
Plywood will be placed over windows in existing rooms that overlook the
new construction (biology, chemistry, computer science, mathematics, and
psychology)
-
Temporary walls will be constructed near the existing northwestern
stairway.
The glove box area and room 2102 in chemistry will be unavailable; room
2101 may be quite noisy;
Access to the growth chambers will be allowed, but through a temporary
door;
Access to room 1003 will remain until January 1, 2007;
Significant work in rooms 0430, 0428, 1434, and 1424A in Psychology is
expected.

Work will be difficult in chemistry labs adjacent to the new construction

Construction should have minimal impact on summer research in other areas

Monday, August 7 to Friday, 25 August (2 weeks before New Student Days)

Fall 2006
Plans seem clarified, with details specified on the transition plan
