Next Steps

1. In the interests of time, I hope to make an initial guess about where each AS course from DMACC might fit.

   • It still seems too early for many Grinnell science faculty to devote substantial to possible interactions with DMACC.

2. I plan to talk with Grinnell's Registrar and the various Grinnell Science Chairs to refine my spreadsheet regarding how DMACC's courses might fit.

   • Perhaps some DMACC courses will fit well with Grinnell STEM majors
   • Perhaps some Grinnell STEM majors clearly will not be feasible
   • Perhaps specific advising will be needed at DMACC

3. I plan to meet again with the DMACC Deans to review how the curricula at DMACC and Grinnell fit in STEM areas.
   I see this as simply a second get-acquainted meeting.

4. At my meeting with the DMACC Deans, I hope we can consider what next steps might be helpful and time effective

   • Possible meetings between DMACC faculty/deans and Grinnell departments/Registrar
   • Possible conversations with Grinnell's Science Division
   • Possible development of advising materials
   • ?????
